Making Waves of Color: Vibrant 
Waves at the Boys & Girls Club of Garfield!


The energy was electric and the creativity was flowing on January 30th! Alexis and Aadit, the duo behind Vibrant Waves, headed over to the Boys & Girls Club of Garfield to host an art workshop that was anything but ordinary. From the second we walked in, we knew we were in for a treat. The Boys & Girls Club of Garfield is a cornerstone of the community, dedicated to providing a safe, supportive environment where young people can reach their full potential.

Their mission was on full display as we met a group of enthusiastic young artists from Garfield Public Schools ready to dive into some serious color. We didn’t just want to “paint”—we wanted to make a splash! Using everything from brushes to colorful sprayers, the kids explored abstract expressionism in its most vibrant form. The room was filled with laughter and the satisfying rhythm of paint hitting paper.

The masterpieces created were truly one-of-a-kind:

  • Sunset Vibrations: A stunning mix of oranges and yellows.
  • Electric Blue Mist: Cool blues and purples blending into a misty dreamscape.
  • The Neon Burst: High-energy pinks and deep purples that jump off the page.

At Vibrant Waves, we believe in the joyful power of art. Seeing the smiles on these students’ faces reminded us exactly why we do this. Every child walked away with a unique creation and a sense of pride. A huge thank you to the Boys & Girls Club for having us!

This Saturday (07/19) we were able to showcase TranquilTally to senior residential community at LIVIA in East Hanover, NJ. We were so happy to see that over 20 seniors attended and learned, through demonstration, how to use TranquilTally and the benefits of journaling. The app has been updated recently to accomodate for larger demographics by making font sizes bigger, allowing multiple different languages, and having a voice-to-text function in the journaling tab.
