  Making Waves of Color: Vibrant  Waves at the Boys & Girls Club of Garfield! The energy was electric and the creativity was flowing on  January 30th ! Alexis and Aadit, the duo behind  Vibrant Waves , headed over to the  Boys & Girls Club of Garfield  to host an art workshop that was anything but ordinary . From the second we walked in, we knew we were in for a treat. The Boys & Girls Club of Garfield is a cornerstone of the community, dedicated to providing a safe, supportive environment where young people can reach their full potential. Their mission was on full display as we met a group of enthusiastic young artists from  Garfield Public Schools  ready to dive into some serious color.   Connecting from the Heart: Navigating Finals Together In a world that often feels fast-paced and isolating, finding a space to slow down and truly connect is vital. This past December 2025, our  Vibrant Waves  community gathered for our monthly  Youth Mental Health Support Meetup  via Zoom. The screen was filled with familiar, smiling faces—all united by a common goal: supporting one another through the winter season. Our December session focused on the power of  collaboration  as we tackled a topic on everyone’s mind:  destressing during final exams . We believe that mental health is a shared journey, and by meeting virtually, we created a sanctuary where young voices could share their anxieties and their victories. Fantastic Tennis Season this fall.  My Summer Tennis Slam partner and I both are on our school varsity tennis team.  it is perfect to continue on varsity tennis team for four years of our high school tennis career and led the team to win #3 NJ tennis team this season.  we can not wait to host the summer tennis slam again and we plan to donate significant portion of the earning from tennis camp to go to Second Serve non-profit org ( About Us | Second Serve | United States ) to support the organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of under-resourced kids who live tennis by giving them the equipment they need.

Partner with Two Piano Journey and Chatham Chinese Association Exciting news that Vibrant Waves is going to partner with two piano journey (https://www.twopianojourney.com/) and Chatham Chinese Association fundraising for mental health.   Michelle and Christopher are a mother & son two piano team on a mission to make the world a better place. They are currently on a benefit concert tour, using their talents to raise money for nonprofits in the hunger relief, education, and social service sectors. their mission aligns perfect with Vibrant Waves mission & Vission. all the proceeds will go to Vibrant Waves for Mental Health activities. Our even is planned for Spring of 2026.

  Vibrant Waves partnered with my friend Newark Academy Student Olivier Dai on a podcast on Asian mental health project where we interview youth for their experiences on mental health and will be doing a short film. This is to  address stereotypes (such as the smart Asian kid, or expectations) and attitudes towards stress (aka, NEWARKACADEMY). today, Oliver and I sat down together to discuss at our first meeting.
